But a scribble with some background. Why does she want to hide? For what reason, what danger is there, that she has the feeling to need to hide? Sometimes my pictures arenīt just scribbles, but most people donīt think about what they see on pictures. Itīs ok. There is indeed a lot of entertainment in just watching, but please, sometimes look more closely. You will be rewarded! |

She bents foreward, but there is nothing to defend but herself.
I am studying about the womens rights in the Meiji- period lately, and also before that was very interested in the situation of Japanese women. This is one picture with which I try to characterise feelings, that I have about these women. ^^
